Jinjiang Amusement Park is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Jinjiang Amusement Park is the first large-scale modern amusement park in Shanghai, China, covering an area of 170 acres with 40 rides suitable for visitors of all ages. It welcomes around one million visitors annually.

Jinjiang Amusement Park is located at No. 201 Hongmei Road, Shanghai, and is easily accessible via Shanghai Metro Line 1, the Hangzhou–Ningbo Expressway, and the Shanghai–Hangzhou Railway, which all have direct access to the park. In addition, over 20 city bus routes have stops nearby. Happy World is a fairy-tale realm that uses modern technologies such as sound, light, and electricity to present famous fairy tales from ancient and modern times, both in China and abroad, blending education with entertainment. Canyon Rafting is Jinjiang Amusement Park’s large-scale water ride. Climb aboard a raft and glide downstream, as if journeying through the green mountains and flowing waters of the Dong people in western Hunan.

In 1998, with an investment of over 90 million yuan, two pioneering projects with international standards—the unique Happy World and Canyon Rafting—were completed in succession, significantly transforming the landscape of Jinjiang Amusement Park and greatly enhancing its appeal. The jointly developed Shanghai Eye is China’s first giant Ferris wheel exceeding 100 meters in height, officially beginning operation on May 1, 2002. The Shanghai Eye stands 108 meters tall, with a wheel diameter of 98 meters, a total weight of 580 tons, and can withstand winds up to force 12. It features 63 passenger cabins, with a maximum hourly capacity of 1,260 passengers, and takes approximately 25 minutes to complete one rotation. The wheel is also equipped with computer-controlled high-powered colorful lights, creating a stunning spectacle at night as if a giant colorful moon is hanging high in the sky.

The Roller Coaster is a large-scale shuttle roller coaster imported from Japan, which moves both forward and backward. It can accommodate 24 passengers per ride. With its upturned ends and looped mid-section stretching continuously across, it resembles a dragon gliding through water. Riders experience thrilling ups and downs, screams of excitement amid sensations of flying through the sky and flipping upside down. River Rapids is an exhilarating and fun ride where visitors board wide wooden boats and navigate through waterfalls. Your heart will race, and as the boat suddenly plummets downward, water splashes everywhere, accompanied by uplifting music that lifts your spirits.

The Space Shot is a high-safety, high-thrill, and highly entertaining ride that has gained international popularity in recent years, successfully developed by the United States in the mid-1990s. The Space Shot simulates the launch of a space shuttle and can carry 16 passengers at a time. Riders sit in launch chairs that slowly ascend from the ground before suddenly being shot upward rapidly, only to then experience free fall. It gives riders the sensation of skydiving—an incredibly thrilling experience.
