Silvertown Ski Resort

The Silvertown Ski Resort is a National AA-level tourist attraction.

The Silvertown Indoor Ski Resort, invested in and built by Shanghai Dashun Hokkaido Ski Co., Ltd., is the first professional indoor ski facility in China and currently the largest of its kind in Asia. The resort covers a total area of 100,800 square meters, with the first phase covering a construction area of 52,000 square meters. The ski slope is 380 meters long and 80 meters wide, with a maximum drop of 42 meters. It features three slopes with different inclines (12°, 15°, 17°) and a large practice platform, catering to skiers of varying skill levels.

The entire ski area spans over 25,000 square meters and can accommodate nearly 1,000 visitors at a time. The temperature inside the resort remains below -2°C year-round, with snow depth ranging from 30 cm to 50 cm. Currently, the resort has about 60 instructors, over 3,000 pieces of equipment, and nearly 6,000 sets of clothing. Visitors can enjoy activities such as skiing, snowboarding, and snowboating. Some snowbikes are not yet in use.

The Silvertown Indoor Ski Resort also offers a variety of leisure and entertainment facilities, including a sightseeing bar, Qixingge Restaurant, sauna, rest rooms, a multi-function hall, KTV, massage rooms, SPA rooms, and a tea house. On the fourth floor, the company plans to introduce the latest amusement equipment from the renowned Japanese gaming company Sansei Corp., creating the most modern electronic entertainment complex in southwest Shanghai. The second phase of the project will include the construction of a business hotel, a standard ice rink, and other supporting facilities, aiming to establish this location as the most professional ice and snow sports and leisure center in Shanghai and the surrounding areas.
