Shanghai Huangpu River Water Culture Museum Park, located on Jiangchuan West Road in Minhang District, is about 25 kilometers from the city center and adjacent to the water intake source of the upper reaches of the Huangpu River. It is easily accessible via Metro Line 5, the A4 highway leading to Huamin Road, then heading west on Jiangchuan Road, offering very convenient transportation. The museum park is a key tourism project in the suburban area of Shanghai and is also the closest ecological park to Shanghai’s mother river — the Huangpu River.

The Huangpu River Water Culture Museum Park was first constructed in July 2003, with an overall planned area of approximately 2,100 mu. It consists of an Ancient Ecology Zone, an Ancient Culture Zone, and a Rural Culture and Leisure Zone. The Ancient Ecology Zone covers 400 mu, the Ancient Culture Zone covers 800 mu, and the Rural Culture and Leisure Zone spans 900 mu. Quietly nestled along the banks of the Huangpu River, the museum park seems to tell stories of millennia, showcase the brilliance of national culture, and create a beautiful and harmonious environment between humans and ecology. It forms a comprehensive tourist resort integrating travel, sightseeing, science education, leisure, and vacation.
