Hanxiang Water Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Shanghai Hanxiang Water Park is an aquatic ecological garden built by Pengdu Village in Maqiao Town, Minhang District, to protect the safety of Shanghai’s drinking water intake. It is a key tourism project in the suburbs of Shanghai. Covering an area of 400 acres and adjacent to the Huangpu River, it is a museum of ancient bridges, a conservation area for rare trees, and one of the rare classical gardens in Shanghai that brings together water, bridges, pavilions, terraces, towers, halls, trees, flowers, grass, and wood.

The Water Park consists of the Ancient Ecological Zone, the Ancient Culture Zone, and the Rural Sightseeing Park. The Ancient Ecological Zone features rivers, ancient bridges, ancient trees, landscape stones, and faux-ancient architecture as its main elements, with a rustic, natural, and wild charm. The park houses over 600 ancient trees that are more than 100 years old, 25 relocated ancient bridges, and two science education venues. The Ancient Culture Zone focuses on exploring and showcasing the water culture of the Huangpu River, the ancient culture of Maqiao, and historical figures from Maqiao. It includes a replica of the Maqiao Ancient Cultural Site Museum and the Dong Qichang Painting Academy. The Rural Sightseeing Park primarily offers modern agricultural sightseeing, a glimpse into the life of rural families along the Huangpu River, and local cultural displays, along with recreational activities. It features eight major attractions: an agricultural ecology exhibition area, a riverside village exhibition hall, an aquatic cash crop zone, an orchard planting area, a fishing zone, a shopping and leisure street, a rural resort village, and an agricultural technology exhibition hall.
