Puhuitang Bridge

Puhuitang Bridge is a cultural relic protection unit of Minhang District.

Puhuitang Bridge (Puhuitang Qiao), also known as Qibao Pond Bridge, is located in Qibao Town, Minhang District, spanning the Puhuitang River. It was built through donations by Xu Shou and others in the 13th year of the Zhengde reign during the Ming Dynasty (1518). The bridge was renovated in the 3rd year of the Tongzhi reign during the Qing Dynasty (1864). It features three arches: the main arch has a span of 11.2 meters and a height of 5.2 meters, the secondary arch spans 5.6 meters and has a height of 3 meters. The bridge is 29 meters long, 5.45 meters wide, with 20 stone steps at each end and stone railings on both sides. It was designated as a county-level cultural relic protection unit in 1963.
