Located on a gentle slope northeast of Ulajie Town. Two excavations were carried out in the 1970s, unearthing a large number of artifacts from the Han Dynasty. It provides invaluable physical materials for the study of Han Dynasty culture in the northeastern region.

Ulajie Town: Ulajie is located within Longtan District, the National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone of Jilin City, Jilin Province. It lies on the upper reaches of the Songhua River and at the original alluvial plain segment shaped by the river. To the south lies Longtan Mountain, to the north it connects with Fenghuang Pavilion, to the west it borders the Songhua River, and to the east it leans against the various ranges of the Changbai Mountains. Covering an area of 188 square kilometers, it is a geomantically auspicious land rich in mineral resources and with relatively developed agriculture.

Once an ancient city, now a town, Ulajie is a time-honored cultural hub of Dongbei (Northeast China) along the Songhua River.
