The largest night market in southern Taoyuan opens with over 500 bustling stalls

Taiwan's most iconic night market features attract tourists from around the world, making the newly opened “Longtan Night Market,” the largest in southern Taoyuan, a must-visit destination. Opened on September 2nd, it spans 6,000 pyeong, houses up to 500 vendors, and includes parking for 300 cars and 200 motorcycles.

The night market offers a variety of Taiwanese street foods and international cuisines, along with many unique stalls. It is expected to not only serve the Longtan area but also attract visitors from nearby Pingzhen and Guanxi, becoming a new highlight for tourism in Longtan. The city government has adopted a public-private partnership model to rebuild the Longtan Night Market, ensuring its distinctive charm and culture continue to thrive and return to the lives of residents.

The city government is dedicated to promoting night markets, including the Bade Xingren Garden Night Market, Guishan Cultural Garden Night Market, and Longtan Night Market. All are supported by the city government and meet standards for transportation, environmental protection, and hygiene, operating as legally compliant night markets.
