The site features two different cultures: one is the Xituanshan Culture, to which all discovered dwellings and the stone coffin tomb group belong; the other is later than the Xituanshan Culture, incorporating elements of Han culture, has evidence of ironware use, remains unnamed to this day, and dates roughly to the Western Han period.
