Historical background: The Da’an City Museum was established in 1983, originally known as the Da’an County Exhibition Hall. The museum currently consists of an exhibition room for freshwater fish and an exhibition room for historical relics. The freshwater fish exhibition room was completed and opened to the public in 1984; the historical relics exhibition room was completed and opened to the public in 1991.
