On the first day of Line 5’s opening, a huge crowd of passengers flocked to the line, with 42,000 riders in just the morning and over 220,000 by 7 p.m. Attractions and eateries along the line have also benefited. Among the seven stations on Line 5, Da’an Forest Park Station has drawn particular attention, featuring a sunken semi-circular garden design and a water dance fountain spectacle, earning it the title of “the most gorgeous MRT station ever,” rivaling Kaohsiung MRT’s Formosa Boulevard Station.

The towering station structure and its semi-circular glass curtain walls offer high levels of natural lighting and translucency, with ever-changing light and shadow that make for stunning photographic moments. Many visitors can be seen taking photos non-stop with their phones, capturing the beautiful interiors. The fountain and water dance plaza are the main focal points of the station, featuring four types of water displays: mist, curtains, jets, and waterfalls, attracting many who come to watch and take pictures.
