Sifang Mountain is located in the northwest of -tang Township and gets its name from its shape. It is mainly divided into two parts: East Sifang Mountain and West Sifang Mountain. West Sifang Mountain features uniquely shaped stone clusters — naturally sculpted rock formations standing tall on the mountaintop, surrounded by peculiar stones. There are no fixed trails here, and the terrain is rugged. East Sifang Mountain presents another kind of landscape — a densely forested area covered in pine trees. The ground is covered with fallen leaves all year round. Stepping into this forest and walking on the thick layer of leaves is like entering a primeval forest from hundreds of years ago. The pine trees here are quite unique; not all stand straight and tall, but many grow as twins, taking on various shapes, resembling couples acting out touching stories. In the gaps between the intertwined trees, sunlight sometimes filters through. When the breeze blows, golden rays sparkle, adding an even more mysterious feel to this primeval forest. This area is also where the richest legends are concentrated — the beautiful legend of “Hongluo Lady,” the mysterious “Big Pool,” and the romantic “Wishing Stone,” just to name a few.
