The Wangqing Forestry Bureau’s Lanjia Diaoshuihu Pristine Scenic Area is situated within the Wangqing Forestry Bureau in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province. Located at the intersection of two provinces (Heilongjiang and Jilin) and three counties (Wangqing County, Hunchun City, and Dongning City), it falls under the jurisdiction of Hunchun City. The scenic area is 150 kilometers from Wangqing County town, 140 kilometers from Hunchun City, 210 kilometers from Yanji City, and 120 kilometers from Dongning City in Heilongjiang Province. Part of the Changbai Mountain Range, it boasts a uniquely strategic location among provincial scenic areas.

The landscapes of the Lanjia Forest Farm Diaoshuihu Scenic Area are characterized by their “rarity,” “elegance,” “seclusion,” and “vastness.” Currently, the main sites that showcase its pristine nature include Stone River, Diaoshuihu Lake, Nine-Tier Waterfall, and Hengduan Mountain.

The overall strategic positioning for the development of the Lanjia Forest Farm Diaoshuihu Scenic Area is to establish it as a “pristine tourism zone” catered to mid- to high-end customers seeking leisure and vacation experiences in the mountainous regions of eastern Jilin Province.

In the past, the area where Lanjia Forest Farm is located was remote and hard to reach due to its considerable distance from the county town and extremely poor transportation. It was considered a rarely visited place. However, after the opening of the road from Wangqing through Fuxing Town to the Heilongjiang border in 2007, coupled with publicity by Wangqing County TV station, visitors began flocking in, generating very positive feedback. As a result, Wangqing Forestry Bureau plans to develop this scenic area.
