The Yaoyinggou Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Base is located in the central part of Wangqing County, within Jiguan Township, spanning Yaoyinggou and Tangshihézigou (now known as Jixing). Major ruins include the former site of the Yaoyinggou District Government and the former site of the Wangqing County guerrilla barracks. In the spring of 1933, the CPC Wangqing County Committee established the Yaoyinggou District Soviet Government (later renamed the People's Revolutionary Government), marking the founding of the Yaoyinggou Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Base. In September 1934, Japanese invaders launched the third “major mopping-up campaign” in an attempt to annihilate the base. At this critical juncture, the CPC Dongman Special Committee convened the Yaoyinggou Conference in March 1935, deciding to preserve revolutionary forces by disbanding the Yaoyinggou Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Base and organizing troops to embark on expeditions to northern and southern Manchuria.

Jiguan Township: A township under the jurisdiction of Wangqing County. It was established as Yingbi Shan Township in 1956, reorganized as Jiguan Commune in 1958, and officially became Jiguan Township in 1983. Located in the central part of the county, it is 20 kilometers from the county seat, covering an area of 818.2 square kilometers with a population of 9,000. The township government is seated in Jiguan. The Da (Xinggou)–Luo (Zigou) Highway passes through the area. It administers 13 village committees: Jiguan, Zhangjiadian, Yingbi, Cilaoyagou, Taian, Gongjiadian, Yaoyinggou, Dabeigou, Jixing, Huojiaying, Jiming, Huapidianzi, and Xinmin.
