Ancient Luozigou City is located east of Chenggu Village in Luozigou Town, Wangqing County. The ancient city is rectangular in shape, with a perimeter of 1060 meters. The northern and southern walls are 286 meters long, while the eastern and western walls are 244 meters long, covering an area of 69,784 square meters. There is a gate structure in the middle of the southern wall, with a barbican. Corner towers are located at each of the four corners. Each of the eastern, western, and southern walls has two bastions, while the northern wall has three. A moat surrounds the city. Artifacts unearthed include animal-masked roof tiles, drip tiles, flat tiles, tubular tiles, bronze mirrors from the Jin Dynasty, and copper coins from the Northern Song Dynasty such as “Xuanhe Tongbao.” During the Jin Dynasty, Luozigou City was under the jurisdiction of the Helaan Route and served as an important town on the trade route to the Shuaibin Prefecture.
