Mantai City Mountain Fortress is a large-scale mountain fortress dating from the Liao and Jin periods. The entire fortress is constructed along the mountain, featuring a perilous terrain, solid fortifications, and a grand scale. It served as an important strategic stronghold that was easy to defend but hard to attack along the Gaya River. Located within the Mantianxing Scenic Area, the fortress has a perimeter of 3,000 meters. Its southern and western walls were built along the mountain ridges, while parts of the northern and eastern walls were also erected on ridges, with some sections constructed halfway up the hillsides. The southeastern, southwestern, and northwestern corners of the fortress all feature watchtowers. There are five gate sites, three barbicans, and defensive moats along the gentle slopes. The southern part of the fortress is higher in elevation than the northern part, and it is surrounded by water on the east, north, and west sides, with the northern gate likely serving as the main entrance.

Baicaogou Town: Baicaogou Town is one of the comprehensive reform pilot towns in Jilin Province. It is located in the southwest of Wangqing County, about 25 kilometers from Wangqing Town (the county seat) and 48 kilometers from Yanji City (the prefectural seat). It is a key transit point on the route from Wangqing to Yanji. To the east, it faces Tonghua and Hunchun across the mountains, and to the west, it neighbors Antu and Longjing. The town covers an area of 588 square kilometers, governs 42 administrative villages, has 5,000 hectares of arable land, and 467 hectares of forested land. Five rivers flow through the town. The grassland area spans 8,300 hectares, producing over 100 million kilograms of fresh grass annually. It is one of the key economic towns in Wangqing.
