History: The predecessor of Wangqing County Museum was the Wangqing County Cultural Relics Management Office (one team, two signs). The Wangqing County Cultural Relics Management Office was established in March 1987. In February 2009, the Wangqing County Museum was officially established; the building area is 624 square meters, with an exhibition area of 450 square meters. The new building of Wangqing County Museum started construction in April 2016 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2017. The new building covers an area of 3,000 square meters, with an exhibition area of over 1,000 square meters.
