Located on a river bend 4 kilometers west of Langchaihe Village, Dapuchaihe Town, the ancient city is surrounded on its eastern, southern, and western sides by the Fuluo River, featuring a strategically challenging terrain. The city has a perimeter of 932 meters, is roughly square in shape, and the interior has been turned into farmland. The city walls are relatively well-preserved, including a barbican and bastions. Artifacts from the Bohai and Liao-Jin periods have been unearthed within the city, leading to the preliminary conclusion that it was initially built during the Bohai era and continued to be used during the Liao-Jin period.
