The coffee brand UCC, which has a history of over 80 years, opened its new top-tier boutique ground coffee concept store, COFFEE LOVER’s PLANET, on the B1 floor of SOGO Dunhua Branch in February. Through a brand-new island-style, wraparound coffee tasting space design, customers can learn about bean selection, brewing method suggestions, watch the brewing process, and interactively listen to the experiences and sharing of coffee professionals. There are 22 types of fresh coffee beans available daily, and seven different brewing methods on-site, allowing you to enjoy a uniquely perfect cup of coffee.

COFFEE LOVER’s PLANET features a full panoramic transparent glass curtain wall and a Japanese-style wooden visual design. Its approachable island-style work bar perfectly complements the overall high-ceilinged space—this is the first impression given by the world’s first UCC top-tier boutique ground coffee concept store, COFFEE LOVER’s PLANET. The store has a total of 76 seating areas, spread across comfortable sofas, bar stools, marble tabletops, and pour-over bar counters. The unique island-style wraparound coffee bar is located in the center of the store, equipped with seven brewing devices: pour-over, espresso, siphon, cold drip, cold brew foam, French press, and Japan’s UCC-exclusive DRIP MASTER, a machine that can mimic pour-over coffee.

Next to the seating area is Taiwan’s only coffee roasting room, where various experience courses such as roasting, pour-over, and siphon brewing are arranged. When there are no courses, a large roasting machine is used to roast coffee beans. Visitors can watch the coffee roasting process through the glass panels. The store aims to convey the beauty of ground coffee in an intimate way, living up to its name by bringing coffee lovers together.

In addition, the store also offers a variety of Japanese products, such as Mino-yaki coffee cup and plate sets, Arita-yaki coffee cups, ZARO JAPAN coffee filters, stationery and sundries from the Kobe Coffee Museum, drip bags, coffee beans, and more, allowing you to easily enjoy the lifestyle pleasures brought by coffee.
