The smallest room type starts at 17 pyeong (approximately 56 square meters), offering undeniable comfort and spaciousness. The hotel entrance is not on Dunhua North Road, continuing the Mandarin Oriental brand's signature low-profile and discreet character, while also protecting guest privacy. The interior spaces are rich in artistry and design; for instance, the grand chandelier at the lobby entrance was designed by Czech artist Tafana Dvorakova, woven from 5,000 crystal beads and pale amber crystals, exuding dazzling elegance.

Culinary offerings are also a key focus of Mandarin Oriental, Taipei. The hotel features six dining venues, among which the desserts designed by chocolate master Frank Haasnoot will be available at the Mandarin Cake Shop and Qing Yu, which serves English afternoon tea—sure to become a popular choice for ladies enjoying afternoon tea. CO CO French Restaurant is designed by renowned designer Adam Tihany, Bencotto is helmed by Michelin one-star chef Mario Cittadini, and Ya Ge is a Cantonese restaurant, blending both Chinese and international cuisines to satisfy gourmets’ palates. The M.O. Bar, a staple of the Mandarin Oriental series, presents a 1920s Art Deco retro vibe in Taipei, embracing a reserved and understated aesthetic.
