Shengshui Temple

Shengshui Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Introduction Also known as Guanyin Pavilion, it is located in the northern part of Dahei Mountain. The area is lush with greenery and boasts a serene environment that captivates visitors. According to inscriptions on the steles, Shengshui Temple earned its name for its exceptional water, which was said to come from an ancient well to the right of the main hall. Unfortunately, the water source was cut off during national defense construction in the early 1960s. Near the West Zen Room, there is a natural stone mirror that reflects images like a mirror. Shengshui Temple was originally divided into an upper and a lower courtyard. The lower courtyard consisted of 24 ancient buildings forming a large quadrangle, but it no longer exists. The upper courtyard is situated on a mountain waist high into the clouds and can be reached by climbing winding paths and stone steps, with stone steles from the Ming and Qing dynasties and other periods standing on both sides. Archaeologists have also discovered relics from the Liao and Jin periods in the surrounding area. Transportation: First take a bus from Beigangqiao Bus Station to Jinzhou, then transfer to a bus to Guanyin Pavilion. The fare is 3.5 yuan.
