Dalian Tongniuling is located on the southern side of the Development Zone, where mountains meet the sea. The azure ocean lies adjacent to the lush Dongshan Mountain, preserving a natural ecological environment for this new district primarily focused on industrial development. It offers a tranquil retreat for the hardworking residents of the Development Zone.

At the summit of Tongniuling stands an observation tower shaped like a UFO. To the north, you can see a vibrant urban area filled with high-rise buildings, while to the south, the vast, boundless sea stretches out before you. Since 2002, a UFO-shaped structure has stood here. As the Development Zone celebrates its 18th anniversary, its creators hope this symbolizes a second leap forward for this new city. At the same time, they aim to transform the area into a natural ecological park. The mountain is covered with large tracts of Koelreuteria paniculata, Cotinus coggygria, lush green grass, and dense pear orchards, truly giving visitors the feeling of returning to a forest.

In 2002, a UFO-shaped observation tower was built on the main peak. The structure consists of two levels, with a total floor area of approximately 600 square meters and an absolute height of 28.73 meters, making it the highest point in Dalian Development Zone. From the observation tower, you can overlook the entire Development Zone, and with the help of astronomical telescopes, you can observe the night sky and constellations. When night falls, the observation tower presents a magnificent "alien visitor" spectacle that is vivid, lifelike, dreamlike, and fantastical, becoming the most eye-catching highlight of the Development Zone.

Various scenic spots within the area are connected by two mountain-looping roads, north and south, and feature a 2-kilometer wooden boardwalk. The area has two parking lots. A large-scale 1-kilometer-long relief sculpture titled "Memories of the Sea," crafted from naturally occurring coastal rocks, is a marvel of artistry. The large sculpture "Nine Dragon Wall" skillfully utilizes the coastal cliffs. The Boshibay Beach, an antique-style bell tower, the Sea Love Square, and various sculptures together form a scenic line that blends culture and ecology, making it a great destination for leisure, fitness, connecting with nature, and cultivating the spirit.
