Introduction

The Cultural Memorial Park is situated in Huludao City, Liaoning Province, a coastal city known as the "Liaoxi Corridor" with a long history and beautiful scenery. It is a large-scale cultural memorial park exclusively invested by Huitong Pagoda Industrial Development Co., Ltd. with 180 million RMB, integrating history, culture, sightseeing, leisure, and ancestor worship. The park is located on the dragon vein of the Songling Mountain Range, nestled against the emerald-green, pine-shaded Yingbi Mountain, which was once the site of the Ming-Qing battle outside Shanhaiguan between the anti-Qing general Yuan Chonghuan and the Qing Taizu Nurhaci. Adjacent to the Bohai Bay and connected to the renowned battlefield site of the "Tashan Blocking Battle" during the Liaoshen Campaign, the park features the meandering Lianshan River at its foot, embodying the concept of "mountains embracing water" in Eastern natural philosophy, offering breathtaking scenery and a unique atmosphere. Covering an area of about 150 acres, the park consists of the Sage Garden Historical and Cultural Scenic Area, Hulu Tan Scenic Area, Fangcao Wu Green Ecological Zone, Cultural Memorial Area (Pagoda Tomb Area), Yingbi Mountain Forest Nature Reserve, and Comprehensive Service Management Area. Historical sites such as the "Three Meritorious Steles Erected by Emperor Kangxi for the Family of Empress Xiaokangzhang Tong" and the sacred spring "Hulu Tan" bear witness to the historical changes of western Liaoning; natural relics such as the "Century-Old Dragon Mulberry Tree" and the "Wonder of the Ages – Flying Stone" nurture the "Niuheliang Culture"; contemporary China’s superlatives such as the "Filial Piety Classic Wall," "Hundred Family Names Wall," and "Twelve Sages Giant Humanistic Sculptures" are truly breathtaking; the religious art masterpiece "Dripping Water Guanyin" enjoys the reputation of being the "Best Beyond the Shanhai Pass"; and the large-scale cultural memorial hall – Huitong Pagoda – is hailed as a classic of modern architectural art.
