Marshal's Mausoleum

Marshal's Mausoleum is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Marshal's Mausoleum is the tomb of Zhang Zuolin, a warlord of the Fengtian Clique. It is located in the eastern part of Fushun County, near Tiebeishan Station on the Shenyang–Jilin Railway. Construction began in May 1929 but was halted after the September 18 Incident in 1931. The mausoleum houses exquisitely crafted white marble stone artworks from the Ming and Qing dynasties. The statues of stone figures, horses, lions, and camels are vividly shaped, exquisitely detailed, and strikingly lifelike. The screen walls carved with reliefs of tigers, deer, flowers, and birds feature distinct layers, meticulous designs, and fine craftsmanship.

In May 2013, the State Council (State Council Document [2013] No. 13) designated Marshal's Mausoleum as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
