Eighteen-Bend Ridge Scenic Belt

Eighteen-Bend Ridge is located between the Sanke Stone National Forest Park and the Tian nv Mountain Scenic Area, sharing the same mountain range as Tian nv Mountain. It gets its name from the winding mountain road that features eighteen sharp turns, also known as the "Eighteen-Turn Mountain Road." The road is shaded by dense woods on both sides thanks to the surrounding primeval forests. In spring, the ridge is covered in fresh greenery, filled with blooming flowers, birdsong, and crisp air. In summer, the thick canopy overhead covers the road, bringing cool breezes. After mountain rains, you can listen to the murmuring springs in the valley, watch squirrels foraging by the roadside, and admire birds hopping among the treetops. It’s an ideal place to escape the heat. In autumn, the forest is ablaze with color—fiery red maples, golden willows, and the deep green of oak and oak-hornbeam trees make it the perfect spot to view the colorful mountain foliage, as well as to pick wild fruits and forest produce. In winter, it becomes a great destination for enjoying snowscapes and winter sports.
