[Introduction]

The Maogong National Defense Education Base is located 20 kilometers southwest of Fushun city proper, 40 kilometers from Shenyang, and 65 kilometers from Benxi. Covering an area of 118.8 hectares, the base boasts picturesque landscapes and is a large-scale red tourism destination that integrates national defense education, sightseeing, and catering services. The base includes an equipment exhibition area, a marching and camping area, a simulated attack and defense combat area, an outdoor training area, and a camouflage operations area. It serves as a red education base for fostering patriotism, collectivism, and teamwork among government agencies, schools, enterprises, groups, and social organizations, and stands as another shining example of red tourism in a nationally recognized model village.
