Fushun Egret Island Scenic Area

The Egret Island Scenic Area is located in Lijia Village, Shangma Township, Fushun County, 80 kilometers from Shenyang and 40 kilometers from Fushun. Surrounded by water on three sides, it is an important island in the Dahuofang Reservoir. The area boasts a forest coverage rate of 95%, with ancient trees towering above, mountains encircling the water, shimmering waves and drifting clouds, and crystal-clear blue waters and lush green hills, creating a uniquely beautiful landscape. It is the largest bird-watching base in Liaoning as well as a popular destination for eco-tourism and leisure vacations. Throughout the scenic area, egrets in various poses can be seen—some perched on tree branches, others soaring through the sky—making it an ideal place for people from bustling cities to feel the vitality of nature and return to the mountains.
