Yaobu Picking Garden is situated upstream of the Dahuofang Reservoir, along the Sanjiaoshi tourist route. With convenient transportation, fresh air, and beautiful surroundings, the garden covers an area of 120 acres. Its main fruit varieties include Jinxiang, Yimianhong, Dajianba pears, and Nanguo pears. In 2008, it was designated as a tourist picking garden by the Municipal Agriculture Commission and the County Agricultural Development Bureau. The garden opens in early August, offering the “Yimianhong” variety for picking; in mid-August, the “Jinxiang” variety can be picked; and in early September, Nanguo pears are available for harvest.
