Sino-German Fossil Geological Park

In the Jehol Biota of western Liaoning, the Yixian area boasts abundant fossil resources with complete taxa and exquisite preservation, making it a "treasure trove of global fossil resources." The Sino-German Fossil Geological Park, the main section of Yixian Provincial Paleontological Fossil Geological Park, was invested in and built by Jinzhou Sino-German Geological Tourism Co., Ltd., covering an area of 40,000 square meters. It officially opened to the public in August 2008. This is the first project in Yixian to introduce foreign investment and engage in Sino-foreign cooperation, as well as the first paleontological fossil geological park in Liaoning Province funded by foreign investment.
