Qingta Temple Pagoda stands 14.42 meters tall and is an octagonal, thirteen-tiered, solid brick pagoda of the dense-eave style. It consists of four parts: the base, the body, the eaves, and the top. The pagoda features exquisite carving techniques, with varying Buddha statues sculpted on its eight sides. The first tier of eaves is topped with brick-carved bracket sets (dougong), and the upper tiers feature eaves formed by corbelled brickwork. At the top sits an inverted iron bell. The temple and pagoda were renovated in 1998.

Qingta Temple Pagoda was listed as a county-level cultural heritage site in 1985, a Jinzhou Municipal Cultural Heritage site in 1998, and, in 2008, the pagoda was included in the Liaoning Provincial Cultural Heritage list as a Ming Dynasty structure.

Protected area: A perimeter with a radius extending 1 meter south of the pagoda (at 121°14′52.1″E, 41°22′22.7″N), and 50 meters east, 200 meters south, 25 meters west, and 150 meters north.

Construction control zone: A first-tier control zone extends 20 meters east and 50 meters each south, west, and north beyond the protected area; a second-tier control zone extends 100 meters beyond the first-tier zone.
