Xiao Jun’s Tomb

Xiao Jun’s Tomb is a cultural relic protection unit of Liaoning Province.

Xiao Jun’s Tomb is located at the northeast corner of Linghe Park in Linghai City, Liaoning Province.

Xiao Jun was born on July 3, 1907, in Xiannianpangou Village, Shenjiatai Town, Yixian County, Liaoning Province. Due to his family’s poverty, he only attended elementary school. In 1925, he began his military career, serving as a probationary officer and as an assistant instructor in military and martial arts. His writing career began in the army. In 1932, under the pseudonym "Sanlang," Xiao Jun officially started his literary career in Harbin, collaborating with underground Communist Party members and progressive youths to engage in literary and artistic activities. After nearly a year of effort, he completed the full-length novel *The Countryside in August*, which depicts the anti-Japanese struggle of the Northeast People's Revolutionary Army.

Protected area: With the point at 121°21′52.6″ east longitude and 41°10′31.8″ north latitude as the base, the protected area extends 8.4 meters east and west, and 10.6 meters north and south.

Construction control zone: A primary construction control zone lies within 3 meters outside the protected area, and a secondary construction control zone lies within 5 meters outside the primary control zone.

Xiao Jun (July 3, 1907 – June 22, 1988), originally named Liu Honglin, was born on July 3, 1907, in Xiannianpangou Village, Shenjiatai Town, Yixian County, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province (now part of Danian Township, Linghai, Jinzhou). His original name was Liu Honglin, and he also used the names Liu Yinfei, Liu Yujie, Liu Weitian, and Liu Yuzhu. His pen names included Xiao Jun, as well as Tuoyan Sanlang and Tianjun.
