Champion Work Boasts a Unique Perspective
A Historic Architecture Reimagined
At the award ceremony, Mr. Lin Lu, Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Photographers Association, provided an in-depth review of the top three works: “Ancient City Echoes,” “China Red,” and “Dougong · Impression.” The first prize-winning work, “Ancient City Echoes,” exhibits ingenious composition and layout, with the close-up dougong forming a striking contrast against the distant ancient pagoda. Through the photographer’s lens, the charm of ancient architecture lies not only in the structures themselves but also in the connections between them. With clever composition and a keen capture of changing weather conditions, the profound aura of the ancient buildings is naturally reflected in the photographs. Mr. Gao Wenkai, Deputy General Manager of China Resources Snow Breweries (Jiangsu Region) and General Manager of the Shanghai Marketing Center, together with Mr. Yong He, Vice Chairman of the China Photographers Association and Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Photographers Association, and Mr. Du Jiamei, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Photographers Association, jointly presented the award to the first prize winner, Mr. Xu Hui.
