(The Joint Exhibition of Works in the "Bloom · Great Beauty of Hengqin" Series of Events Has Kicked Off!)
To showcase the beautiful natural scenery of Hengqin New District and effectively promote its overall image externally, the "Painting, Photography, and WeChat Article Joint Exhibition," part of the "Bloom · Great Beauty of Hengqin" series of events, jointly organized by the Social Affairs Bureau of Hengqin New District and undertaken by Zhuhai Dahengqin Pan-Tourism Development Co., Ltd., kicked off at 10:00 AM on January 19, 2017, at Station 1 of Huahai Corridor in Hengqin New District!
The leaders and guests present at the event included Liu Jia, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hengqin New District; Ye Zhen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Hengqin New District; Wang Wanping, Director of the Office of the Management Committee of Hengqin New District; Tong Niansheng, Minister of the Party-Mass Work Department of Hengqin New District; Luo Zengqing, Director of the Finance Bureau of Hengqin New District; and Guan Wei, Director of the Social Affairs Bureau of Hengqin New District. Liu Wenwei, Chairman of the Zhuhai Artists Association; Huang Jianbo, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Zhuhai Artists Association; Chen Weilu, Vice Chairman of the Zhuhai Photographers Association and Editor-in-Chief of China Photography Online; and Wu Qi, recipient of China's highest photography award, the "Golden Statue Award";

Since its launch on December 9, 2016, the "Bloom · Great Beauty of Hengqin" series of events has showcased the "Great Beauty of Hengqin" through a variety of activities including painting sketching, photography tours, and WeChat article submissions. It attracted the enthusiastic participation of 36 renowned painters from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau, 5 internationally and nationally acclaimed photography artists, nearly 1,000 local photography enthusiasts from Zhuhai, and over 700 creative contributors of WeChat articles, all showcasing the great beauty of Hengqin!
In the process of urban development and transformation, many people have had the privilege of witnessing and participating in the achievements of Hengqin New District. They have recorded the inception, growth, and rise of this vibrant land through artistic works, images, and essays, covering various aspects such as natural scenery, urban construction, local customs, and economic vitality. Together, they form multi-dimensional and diverse-themed "urban chronicles."

The WeChat Article Submission Competition, part of the "Bloom · Great Beauty of Hengqin" series of events, was organized through the national creative crowdfunding platform "Ai Te Da Shi" mobile app. It involved 778 participants, with 26 works selected and judged through online voting and expert reviews.
The world holds great beauty without words, and humanity holds great love without speech. Behind great beauty lies much hard work and dedication, and behind great love lies much support and trust. Along the way, there are beautiful sceneries everywhere, and as we move forward, we are moved at every moment. Since its launch, the "Bloom · Great Beauty of Hengqin" series of events has received strong support from the leaders and relevant departments of Hengqin New District. It is this recognition and support that enabled our photography artists, painters, and WeChat article creators to produce one artwork after another showcasing the "Great Beauty of Hengqin." The perfect presentation of these works not only records the beauty of Hengqin but also serves as an open door to art, inviting more people and artists to discover even more beauty in Hengqin!
The flowers of art that irrigate the great beauty of Hengqin, the beauty of imagery, the light of creativity, the abundant fruits of Hengqin’s construction, and the power of its development will bloom fully in the hearts of everyone.
