Diamond Peak

Diamond Peak is located to the west of Da’an Temple. It is a rocky peak that resembles a pagoda or a massive diamond statue, standing 70 meters tall and exuding grandeur. Shaped like a cone, its southern, eastern, and western faces feature sheer cliffs as if carved by a knife. Dozens of short, ancient pine trees grow on the cliffs, their gnarled branches stretching out and swaying precariously in the wind. To the north, it connects with Tongming Peak, where jagged rocks interlace and stone waves stretch across. In the early Qing Dynasty, monks regarded this peak as resembling a diamond, hence naming it Diamond Peak.
