Yingkou City Museum

Yingkou City Museum was officially established in 1981, evolving from the former Yingkou Cultural Relics Management Committee Office. It is now located in the middle section of Bohai Street, Yingkou, with a construction area of 3,200 square meters, including over 1,600 square meters of exhibition space. The museum houses departments such as the Exhibition Research Office, Archaeology Department, Conservation Department, Public Engagement Department, and Appraisal Department. Its collection includes internationally renowned human and mammal fossils from the Jinniushan Site, as well as eleven categories of artifacts: bronzeware, pottery, coins, calligraphy and paintings, matchbox labels, shadow puppets, totaling more than 6,000 items. The collections of matchbox labels, currency, and traditional donkey-hide shadow puppets are particularly comprehensive.
