Yingkou People's Park

Yingkou People's Park was established in 1952. Within the park stands a monument dedicated to the revolutionary martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the liberation of Yingkou. The monument site records the names of those who gave their lives for the city’s liberation.

The Revolutionary Martyrs Monument stands 14.5 meters tall and is clad in white marble. The eight gilded Mao-style characters reading “Eternal Glory to the Revolutionary Martyrs” shine brilliantly in the sunlight. The base consists of two tiers paved with granite and surrounded by white marble carved floral railings. The area around the monument’s base is a large paved plaza. The entire monument is solemn and majestic, as well as magnificent and elegant.
