Navigating a boat through over 2,800 meters of subterranean palace-like passages, winding and twisting as you pass beneath multiple villages, is both thrilling and uniquely spectacular. Not only are there caves within caves, but water also flows from every cave. Here, the underground currents from four tributary passages converge successively in the main cave, causing the water volume to grow continuously. Moreover, the four tributaries each have different water temperatures, creating an intriguing contrast. The cave features a myriad of fantastical and majestic landscapes, both named and unnamed, open to interpretation and sparking the imagination. There are formations that resemble humans, objects, beasts, and birds—too numerous and bizarre to describe. Behold the “Unity of Heaven and Man” formation: a massive hanging rock suspended mid-air above the riverbed, its base forming a flat, lid-like cover.
