Heavenly Grotto Wonderland (also known as Chuantian Rock), is located 2 kilometers west of Jiulong Town, Yingde City, Guangdong Province. It is a cave where a stream flows through the mountain. Visitors can take a boat tour for about 200 meters. The cave features spacious chambers and diverse stalactites, with two holes in the ceiling that let sunlight stream in. Inside the cave, there is a stretch of land covered with dense shade-loving plants in their pristine state, with thick foliage that resembles a rare and unique small forest within the cave. With light, water, land, and forest all present, it feels like stepping into another world—this may be the very essence of the phrase “a world within a world.”

“Heavenly Grotto Wonderland” is a uniquely scenic spot. Along the way, the flat road is flanked by open farmland. Neatly arranged rice paddies are vibrant with green seedlings, their colors fading from deep to light as they stretch into the distance. Just ahead stands a peculiarly shaped mountain. Passing through the gatehouse marked with “Heavenly Grotto Wonderland,” you enter the parking lot. A few steps further reveal a mirror-like small lake with crystal-clear water where fish can be seen swimming, and several small boats are docked along the shore.

At the cave entrance, a huge stalactite hangs down like a dragon’s fang from a mouth-like cave opening, making the whole scene resemble a dragon’s head with its fangs. Paddling into the cave through the vine-draped entrance, the gentle splash of the oar startles dozens of swallows that dart through the uniquely shaped stalactites, further enhancing the mysterious atmosphere of the cave.

After passing through a narrow section, the cave suddenly opens up to a vast chamber with trees, green grass, and wildflowers. Looking up, you see another “sky”—is this a dream? A sky inside a cave, with the cave and sky interconnected. The cave’s sky appears in two sections, one long and one short, resembling a giant exclamation mark that leaves visitors in awe. On closer inspection, the longer section even looks like the geographical outline of Taiwan Island—an astonishing testament to nature’s creativity.
