The Xianqiao Underground River consists of two sections of subterranean river connected by a middle section of open river, flowing from west to east. The water surface is calm, and the boat tour takes about two hours to complete. The first section of the underground river is explored by boat starting from under Yan Kou Mountain, where startled bats often fly out in groups. This section of the underground river is over 300 meters long, featuring a river within a cave and a cave within a river. Exiting the Yan Kou subterranean river leads you to Jiǔqū Stream, an open river section stretching 1,500 meters, lined with banana trees and bamboo on both banks, as well as rice paddies and oxen, presenting a pastoral scene. Next, you'll reach Gangtou Mountain, where you enter another section of the underground river. This part has a slightly wider water surface, and the stalactites in the cave are crystal clear and white. Among them stands a formation called "Changbai Mountain," about 6 meters high and 17 meters long, looking truly like a snow-capped mountain. This underground river section also features waterfalls and lakes, including three “islands” in one of the “lakes.”

Interestingly, due to the intricate and winding structure of the cave chambers in this section, no exit has been found to date. Currently, boats can only go as far as 1,300 meters before returning the same way. The Xianqiao Underground River scenic area is surrounded by many other attractions, including the Pipa Mountain Cave and Ying Stone Forest located above the first section of the underground river, as well as Xin Qun Village, about 3 kilometers west of the scenic area, where four natural hot springs are found within a 500-meter radius. To the south of the scenic area lies a “Xianqiao” (Fairy Bridge), which is 28 meters long and built from stone. Despite enduring centuries of mountain floods, it remains intact. Locals say it was created by immortals, hence its name. Eight kilometers north of the scenic area is the Yinghong Tea Plantation, where tea fields stretch across the mountains, offering beautiful scenery.
