Tiger Valley Underground River Rafting is located within the vast Yingxi Peak Forest Scenic Area in the northern part of Qingyuan City. It is the only underground river rafting experience in China that goes through caves. Renowned both domestically and internationally for its fast-flowing water, bizarre rocks, unique forests, beautiful mountains, deep and pristine caves, and fresh air, it has become highly popular among travel enthusiasts.

Spanning 5 kilometers, the Tiger Valley Underground River Rafting course twists and turns with over 60 rapids and elevation drops of more than 90 meters. Among these, the route includes a section that takes you through an 800-meter-long cave formed over 20,000 years ago. Inside, the scenery resembles the ethereal Moon Palace, adorned with a dazzling array of stalactites in vivid colors that are truly captivating. Navigating thrilling rapids and leaping over waves is exhilarating yet safe; gliding across deep pools and chasing waves allows you to enjoy the sights of birds and fish. Being there lets you immerse yourself in breathtaking natural beauty and embrace the endless joy of nature. With mountains shrouded in mist, waters flowing inside caves, and people seemingly inside a painting, the scene is like a charming traditional Chinese ink artwork.

Propelled by the force of the rapids, the rubber raft shoots forward like an arrow released from a bow. Dangerous shoals and rocks rush toward you, almost capsizing the raft—yet it’s all thrilling yet safe. The raft then fearlessly enters a roughly one-meter-wide, 80-meter-long sluice channel, racing down at lightning speed. After several rounds of this “intense ride,” the raft finally glides gently along the calm river. It’s a cathartic release for the soul.
