Yen, a resident of Sandimen Township in Pingtung County, and several companions climbed Damaumu Mountain, which stands over 2,000 meters above sea level, to forage for medicinal herbs. Hsinchu County: A 33-year-old hiker surnamed Wang from Keelung City went hiking alone on Goat Horn Mountain in Wufeng on the 12th of this month. In the afternoon, he lost his way. He was trapped for a full six days but miraculously survived and was finally rescued on the 14th by Austrian rescue personnel.
