A new green energy, eco-friendly weeding tool has officially hit the market. This device, referred to as the “stand-up weed puller,” allows users to effortlessly uproot weeds just by standing and pulling — making it the ultimate weeding assistant. The inventor of the stand-up weed puller, Wang Zhili, has been continuously testing the product’s range of applications and putting it to use in public welfare projects to demonstrate its powerful weeding capabilities. During a recent interview trip, while passing by the Qingshui Hiking Trail in Taichung, he noticed that from the Qingshui BBQ area all the way to the Anle Model Cemetery — a trail about 2 kilometers long — the path, which he recalled was only about the width of a car, was once overgrown with knee-high weeds that narrowed the already limited pathway. But this time, he observed that the weeds on both sides had noticeably thinned out, revealing the long-hidden concrete base of the trail.
It turns out that the Qingshui hiking trail has always been a popular spot for locals to hike and stay fit. Unfortunately, because the trail is located in a wild area, no relevant organizations were willing to take the initiative to clear the weeds, leading to an overgrown environment that created dangerous conditions where hikers and vehicles had to compete for space. That’s why Wang Zhili specifically applied the second-generation weed puller he developed to clear the dangerously overgrown curves along the trail. After several days of effort, he successfully removed the thick vegetation at several hazardous turns, eliminating potential dangers on the trail. This success proves that the weed puller is not only a green, eco-friendly weeding tool, but also serves as an inspiring example of public service.
