The teddy bears are decoratively placed inside the themed bus and are arranged to ride along with passengers, making for an absolutely adorable sight.

When visiting Anping in Tainan, one must-see spot is Anping Old Street. As one of the earliest developed areas in Taiwan, Anping is home to Taiwan’s first street — Yanping Street, which dates back 300 years. Among the historic shops on the old street, Yong Taixing Preserved Fruit Shop stands out as the oldest, arguably the most ancient preserved fruit store in all of Taiwan. Our homestay happened to be nearby, so we took the opportunity to visit during the evening while looking for a bite to eat.

Tigerair Taiwan’s first flight to Bangkok takes off today with full passenger load
Tigerair Taiwan has officially launched its Thailand routes. On the 14th (today), a daily flight from Taoyuan to Bangkok Don Mueang Airport was initiated, and on November 15, a four-times-weekly service from Taoyuan to Chiang Mai will begin. The highly anticipated “2014 Teddy Bear Taichung Lifestyle Carnival” is set to kick off this Saturday (the 15th) on the streets of Taichung. The only downside is that the roof is made of metal sheeting; if traditional Japanese tiles were used instead, the overall aesthetic would be even better. However, due to the limited number of rooms, it’s quite hard to book one during holidays.
Taipei MRT’s Songshan Line Opens: Bicycles Allowed on Board from December 20
Taipei MRT’s “Songshan Line” officially began operations at 6 a.m. on the 15th, and opened one month of free trial rides to the public. Many people took advantage of the weekend to experience the new line. Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation also announced that starting December 20, bicycles will be allowed on board at seven stations along the Songshan Line during holidays.
