The Sky Lounge “Shuiyou Shanye” on China Airlines’ 777-300ER is located in the central area of the business class cabin, known as the Sky Lounge. Inspired by the verse of Song Dynasty poet Lu You, “Recalling how I traveled light for miles on end, regardless of distance through waterways and postal stations,” it offers a travel lifestyle space that merges Eastern and Western cultural philosophies. The left side features a “Cultural and Creative Tea Area” offering six selected local Taiwanese teas representing the East, while the right side’s “Fashionable Coffee Zone” displays aromatic capsule coffee representing the West and locally grown Dongshan coffee from Taiwan, paired with classic Western pastries.

In addition to tea and coffee, Chinese snacks such as mung bean cakes and pineapple buns are also available for business class passengers to enjoy at any time. Designer Chen Ruixian said, “I hope more foreign passengers can feel the beauty of Taiwan as soon as they board the plane.” The central bar area serves cocktails, bar snacks, energizing seafood, and rich mushroom-flavored premium cup noodles. The bookshelf-like spaces on both sides also offer Chinese and English books updated monthly.
