New Taipei City’s Happy Christmas Town is giving away gifts – limited edition seven Tbears Little bears are super popular

The “2014 New Taipei City Happy Christmas Town” has planned to give out “limited-edition Christmas gifts” daily this year, distributing limited seven Tbears that are in extremely high demand. Additionally, Chunghwa Post has set up a “temporary post office” within Christmas Town, offering exclusive personalized stamps, Christmas convenience boxes, and commemorative postmarks for New Taipei Christmas Town. There is also a “Write to Santa” campaign where people can send their wishes directly to Finland, with a chance to receive a reply from Santa Claus.

The “2014 New Taipei City Happy Christmas Town” will distribute gifts from November 17 to December 31, from 2 pm to 5 pm on Mondays to Fridays (excluding public holidays), in two phases: limited-edition Christmas bear card holders will be given out from November 17 to December 5, and seven TChristmas bears from December 8 to December 31. The public just need to take a photo in front of the main Christmas tree, OPEN Park, Happiness Ferris Wheel, Sweetheart Promise, or Q-cute Bear Park, upload it to Facebook with a check-in at “New Taipei City Happy Christmas Town,” and give a “like” to 【New Taipei Travellers】. Within one day of completion, bring your mobile device to the event service desk, get verified, and you may have a chance to receive a gift (limited to 120 per day).

In addition, Chunghwa Post will set up a temporary post office within “New Taipei City Happy Christmas Town.” The event runs from November 15 to January 4, 2015, with business hours from 3 pm to 9 pm on weekdays and 2 pm to 10 pm on holidays. During this period, simple postal services will be available next to the “Christmas Express.” In addition to a Christmas mailbox, commemorative stamps, and exclusive Christmas convenience boxes, two types of 2014 New Taipei City Christmas Town limited-edition personalized stamps will be launched, along with a bonus gift of Christmas Town-themed postcards (a set of three designs).

For the two events “Christmas Town Lighting Ceremony” on November 15 and “Happy New Taipei Giant Balloon Parade” on December 13, Chunghwa Post will give out a limited quantity of 500 special event envelopes and postmarks, which can be collected or used to send beautiful wishes to family and friends. The “Write to Santa” campaign will begin distributing 300 limited-edition themed postcards at 2 pm on December 7, allowing the public to write down their wishes and send the citizens’ Christmas hopes to Santa Claus in Finland.
