Following the launch of its Singapore route on September 26, Tigerair Taiwan has rapidly expanded its network to include Thailand within just two months. Tigerair Taiwan expressed strong confidence in its Bangkok and Chiang Mai routes. Bangkok is a popular destination among Taiwanese travelers, ideal for those who enjoy shopping and gourmet food, while Chiang Mai, known as the “Rose of the North” in Thailand, offers visitors a tranquil and relaxing experience. The airline’s Taipei to Bangkok Don Mueang Airport flight IT505 operates seven times a week, departing from Taoyuan International Airport at 4:00 PM and returning from Bangkok at 8:05 PM. The Taipei to Chiang Mai flight IT519 departs from Taoyuan at 5:40 AM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with the return flight IT520 taking off from Chiang Mai at 9:40 AM. To celebrate the launch of the Thailand routes, interactive photo events were held on the inaugural flights to Bangkok and Chiang Mai, allowing passengers to commemorate this historic moment for Tigerair Taiwan.
In addition, Tigerair Taiwan also announced that it will host Taiwan’s first in-flight concert on its December 9 flight from Taipei to Bangkok. The airline’s annual spokesperson duo “Hao Jiao Xiang Qi” will perform in the sky. Starting today, 100 seats for that day are available for purchase via the Tigerair Taiwan official website. Since its launch, Tigerair Taiwan has been actively building a brand image centered on “enthusiasm, warmth, and sincerity,” aiming to instill confidence in low-cost air travel among Taiwanese through high-quality service, and to offer more convenient and customizable flying options.
