The Linjiang Original Ecological Scenic Area in Erguna City

The Linjiang Original Ecological Scenic Area in Erguna City is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

Linjiang Original Ecological Park is located at the northernmost part of the city, approximately 170 kilometers from Erguna City. Linjiang has only 82 households and is a settlement of Sino-Russian descendants. During the October Revolution, White Russian nobles crossed the Erguna River, seeking a new life along China’s Erguna River and intermarrying with local Chinese villagers. Today, the descendants of these Sino-Russian families have reached the third generation and still maintain rich traditional Russian cultural customs.

Linjiang Original Ecological Park was invested in, developed, constructed, and managed by Erguna Yutian Tourism Investment and Development Co., Ltd. The company was officially registered as “Erguna Yutian Tourism Investment and Development Co., Ltd.” in January 2007, and in May of the same year, “Erguna Yutian Travel Agency Co., Ltd.” was registered and began operations. To date, Yutian Tourism has invested over 10 million yuan in the construction of the scenic area’s entrance gate, tourism signage, directional signs, parking lots, and visitor center.

The overall layout of the scenic area’s tourism resources centers around the unique cultural charm of Linjiang, with the surrounding forests, grasslands, wetlands, and rivers as its natural backdrop, and the experience of traditional Russian culture and activities as its thematic thread. This forms a comprehensive destination integrating dining, accommodation, entertainment, and shopping.

Major tourist activities include: family tours of the Russian ethnic group to experience their folk customs; horse racing, archery, and wrestling; as well as rafting and horseback riding.
