The Exhibition Room of Inner Mongolia No. 3 Electric Power Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. serves as a patriotic education base.

Inner Mongolia No. 3 Electric Power Construction Company is a state-owned first-class construction enterprise engaged in thermal power plant construction and civil engineering projects. The company’s predecessor was the Logistics Department of the 20th Corps of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, which, after absorbing some management personnel from private construction firms in Tianjin, established the Public Era Construction Company in early 1950. In January 1955, the architectural Second Division, formed from the reorganization of the PLA 23rd Corps, was collectively demobilized and merged with Huazhi No. 2 Company to establish the North China Baotou Engineering Corporation under the Ministry of Construction. It later became the Eighth Company of the Eighth Bureau of the Ministry of Construction, known as “Huajian.” The Traditional Exhibition Room of Inner Mongolia No. 3 Electric Power Construction Company was established in 1997, covering an area of 140 square meters and housing 350 physical archives. Through corporate brochures, promotional videos, as well as displays of photos, texts, and physical objects, the exhibition room promotes the company’s traditional culture and educates and inspires future generations. In December 2005, it was honored with the title of Municipal “Patriotic Education Base.”
