Located in Hanxi Forest Cultural & Ecological Area in Meishan Township, Chiayi, this is a stunning natural hidden gem. Every late winter to early spring, the hills are covered in a romantic sea of white cherry blossoms, set against the blue skies, white clouds, green mountains, and lush trees of the Alishan area—Taiwan’s white cherry blossoms seem to take center stage across the entire mountain.

Hanxi Forest Cultural & Ecological Area is a privately developed park by its owner. The park features vast forests of white cherry blossoms, maple reds, Taiwan incense cedars, and fir trees, with distant views of Mount Datashan and Mount Xiaotashan.

Nestled within the forest, the park allows visitors to immerse themselves in the embrace of the mountains and enjoy the snow-like beauty of blooming white cherry blossoms, soothing and releasing the tension in travelers’ hearts.

The park also features many facilities designed by the owner for meditation, quiet contemplation, and relaxation. The Rainbow Bridge is flanked by Taiwan’s white cherry blossoms on both sides, creating a picturesque scene that has become a popular photo spot among visitors.

After crossing the bridge to reach the Taiji Pavilion, you can feel the tranquility of nature and the majestic presence of the sacred mountain before you. Occasionally, drifting mountain mists add to the immersive experience of the place.
