The Baotou Police History Museum is located within the compound of the Baotou Public Security Bureau, covering an area of 1,000 square meters. It adopts an exhibition approach that combines chronological history with major thematic displays. While highlighting the profound meanings of "history" and "achievements," it emphasizes the distinctive features of public security work and those unique to Baotou. The museum is divided into sections including the introductory hall, the development history of the Baotou Public Security, the main functions of the people's police, police equipment and gear, honors display, and a martyrs' memorial area. These are complemented by modern techniques involving sound, light, and electricity to present a comprehensive and multi-faceted portrayal of the glorious journey the Baotou Public Security has undertaken over the past 60-plus years. It showcases the tremendous contributions made by Baotou’s police officers in maintaining local stability, combating crime, and safeguarding the city’s economic development. The museum authentically recreates the hard-fought and tenacious struggle through which the Baotou Public Security Bureau earned the trust and support of the Party and the people, vividly documenting the remarkable story of the Baotou people's police who remain loyal to the Party, the motherland, the people, and the law.
