The Baotou Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Education Center is a patriotic education base.

The Baotou Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Education Center is located within the Baotou Firefighters' Disaster Relief Training Center in Jiuyuan District (on the third floor of the Baotou Fire Service Combat Service Support Brigade), with a total building area of approximately 2,200 square meters. The center has a frame structure and is divided into seven zones. The first zone is the foyer; the second zone is the fire safety exhibition area (including the history of firefighting, firefighting equipment, and the fire experience exhibition area, etc.); the third zone is the meteorological and geological disaster exhibition area; the fourth zone is the home injury prevention exhibition area; the fifth zone is the traffic and environmental safety exhibition area; the sixth zone is the Baotou industrial disaster prevention and self-rescue exhibition area; the seventh zone is the full-view 4D cinema. The Baotou Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Education Center is a comprehensive disaster prevention and mitigation education center newly built by the city's public security fire brigade, mainly providing education and training on fire safety, traffic safety, earthquakes, and other topics to citizens, students, and community residents. Currently, it is the largest, most fully equipped, and most technologically advanced comprehensive safety education center in the region and even in the central and western parts of China, and it is now fully open to the public.
